iOS16 broke external microphone support for third party apps on iPhones (EN/DE)

Wenn Du also Dein iPhone zum Aufnehmen Deiner Videos benutzt und noch nicht auf iOS16 upgedatet hast, dann solltest Du vorerst das Update unter allen Umständen vermeiden!

Für alle anderen gibt es bereits Licht am Ende des Tunnels! Aktuell ist in der iOS 16.1.b3 BETA das Problem behoben. Wenn die Entwickler das nicht wieder kaputt machen, dann wird mit dem Release von iOS 16.1. das Problem hoffentlich beseitigt sein. Bis dahin bleibt nur die Möglichkeit, die Aufnahme über die interne iOS Kamera-App aufzunehmen, denn hier funktioniert die Mikrofon-Anbindung reibungslos.

Update: iOS 16.1. hat das Problem beseitigt

I don’t know why no one on Youtube is talking about it, but iOS16 has destroyed the foundation of the work for many creators!

Since iOS16 it is currently no longer possible to connect an external microphones to iPhone and then use it with third party apps like Filmic Pro and Moment app.

So if you use your iPhone to record your videos and haven’t updated to iOS16 yet, you should avoid the update at all costs for now!

For everyone else, there is already light at the end of the tunnel! Currently, the iOS 16.1. BETA has fixed the problem. If the developers do not break it again, then with the release of iOS 16.1. the problem will hopefully be eliminated.

Until then, the only option is to record via the internal iOS camera app, as the external microphone connection works still fine there.
