AppZapper ist zwar ein super Tool zum Entfernen installierter Software oder per dmg gestarteter Programme (sie hinterlassen auch Config Dateien!), aber es ist eine gewisse Vorsicht geboten! So in diesem Fall!
Ich wollte Fire mit Hilfe von AppZapper zappen, und was sehe ich da? AppZapper hat die Config Dateien von Firefox mit in die Liste genommen! Warum? Nur weil Firefox den String “Fire” beinhaltet?
Man muss also ein wenig aufpassen, was man so mit wegzappt!
Nichts desto trotz, ist AppZapper für mich das Beste Tool zum deinstallieren von OSX Programmen. Im Vergleich zu Appdelete, dass nur das *.app aus dem Applikation Ordner entfernt(Änderung siehe Erneuter Test) oder uApp, dass nicht alle Systemdateien der Applikation entfernt, ist AppZapper das einzige Tool, dass ich kenne, dass die Applikationen vollständig entfernt (man muss halt doch ein wenig aufpasen, aber sonst…)
Appzapper ist nicht kostenlos, kostet allerdings auch nicht die Welt!

I’m usingAppZapper and i’m very pleased with it so far. But you have always to watch out what its trying to zap! If you wants to zap FIRE, AppZapperalso tries to zap you Firefox plist! look out:
so be careful what you are zapping!

This is Reggie the Developer for AppDelete! Great post here and I’m just curious what experiences you’ve had with AppDelete? When I use the translator I can’t fully understand the comments about AppDelete but if you would like to share please email me through my website. I really appreciate any feedback because it helps AppDelete to become better. Maybe one day AppDelete will be your preferred choice??? :D

Hi,
I had installed Appdelete first of the three i viewed. Any time i wanted to delete a App, Appdelete just removed the *.app not any Preference files like *plist
Second, i do not see, what Appdelete is doing. In refer to my experience with Appzapper, as it wanted to delete my Firefox preferences, I wants to see what file’ll be deleted.
I’m excited of your affort to make Appdelete more great!

I’ll try Appdelete again — in compare to Appzapper! –> I’ll compare the files Appzapper would remove an Appdelete has removed! and ‘ll post it in the next Posting here.

I remeber now the app i had deinstalled. GarageBand. Appdelete does not deinstalled the sound files. But if i think about, Appzapper wouldn’t too. Who should know what to do with sounds.
